Learn to play the keyboard

I am considering taking piano lessons but i don’t know how many keys the keyboard i need to buy will need. There are like 61, 76, and 88 ones with prices going up from more keys. So, how many keys do i need?

So, I’ve been teaching myself to play the piano. (a thoroughly complicated task, but beside the point) And, well I’ve come across chords. I know that chords are pretty much a bunch of notes played together. But the question is what notes? The song I’m working on has the chords C, E, F, G, Dm7 (whatever that means) Am, (A minor, or something, I think) and a C/E (totally lost there). Help. Please!

Exactly what it says in the title. The song by Freezepop has caught my ear in the past 2 days so I thought I’d learn it and teach some of you guys who can’t pick it up by ear. Similar to my “How to play Mad World” video in terms of being thorough, and this time I talk you through it. I know I miss out one little part (it’s only 6 notes long or so) but this is a great video for learning the song.

So, I’ve taken an interest in the keyboard (instrument) lately, and I know I can’t take another second of boredom this break. I’m thinking of getting piano lessons (considering that there probably isn’t a "keyboard" teacher), and I want to know how long it’ll take to learn the essentials (finger positions, how to keep my music fluid, etc.). I figure I can practice on my own when I know what I need to.
The answer probably varies between teachers, so how long did it take for you?

my 7 year old coison wants to learn keyboard online i found 1 website but it was to complicated so does anyone know a website that could teach a child to play a keyboard for free??

So i just got garage band and i want to know what I need to make my piano keyboard play on the garage band screen. I think i need MIDI wires but is there anything else i should know?
