“By Your Side” by Tenth Avenue North (Piano cover) with sheet music
UPDATED I finished the sheet music for it! freewebs.com If you use it, subscribing would be nice, but is not necessary
Just so you know, I made some mistakes when I played it in the video, and I’ve corrected those in the sheet music, so the sheet music might not sound exactly the same as my video. My piano cover played by ear of “By Your Side” by Tenth Avenue North…great song, just discovered it recently and fell in love with it. The Lord has told us He will always be with us.. what an awesome thing to remember, and sometimes we just need to be reminded of that fact. mp3 here (right click + save) – www.freewebs.com see website listed on my channel page if the download doesn’t work. They are multi-dimensional and “cook much more than chicken” (…so to speak). Basically, they never run out of things to play. They’re not afraid to explore musical elements outside their comfort zone. Their musical growth never reaches a final destination but is a continuous journey. …And I have to admit. I’m guilty as a teacher of sticking with “one” primary genre. For over 7 years, we’ve taught primarily gospel music by ear. Yes, you can pick up our 300-pg home study course and find general music theory, ear-training, and various progressions from other genres, but our main focus up until now has been on gospel music.
