Are there organizations that pay for children to take music lessons?
We want the best for our kids, we recently started them in music lessons, one wants to play the electric guitar and the other the keyboard, but is there any organizations that help with something like this, I know there are scholarships for college, and I am to a point of wanting to stop that is a week that we just barely can afford. Our kids are 12 and 13 and they are in the band at school, but the guitar and keyboard are not instruments offered to them.
Is it a good idea to take my daughter out of piano lessons if her heart is with the electric guitar?
She has been ’secretly’ playing the electric guitar at her friends house and has taken a liking to it. She was afraid to tell me since we have put money into her piano lessons. Is it a good idea to take her out of piano or should we just let her continue? She wouldn’t mind piano AND guitar lessons but we think she should be focused on one thing right now.
My daughter is 13
