Whenever I start to practice music(I play the keyboard) I always end up getting distracted. I do not like taking keyboard lessons but people just say that if I practice more, I would get better and enjoy music. But I can not practice as I easily get distracted. Please help me, my exam is in January and I need to FOCUS on practicing! Thanks.

I wanted to start taking keyboard lessons again and hopefully switch to a piano in the future when i have the money for it. i was wondering if its an easy transition. will i notice any difference at all? or just have to get used to it and after 5 minutes im good?

im looking for a place around the graham,spanaway,or parkland (WA) area to take paino/keyboard lessons.
im open to either paying a monthly rate, or paying each week, when i take the lesson.

I am going to take keyboard lessons soon and need to procure an instrument. I went to a lot of places but I’m not sure what the difference is between digital pianos and keyboards. Can I learn how to play the keyboard on a digital piano or should I just get a keyboard?

My grandson will be 5 and he takes keyboard lessons and has surpassed all that the teacher has challenged him with. He seems to love it and it helps him socially but it is extremely expensive and I was wondering if there were any programs out there that award scholarships for such children or offer financial hep. Thank you.

I’m thinking of taking up either piano or keyboard lessons but I’m not really sure which.

I’m told that with keyboard, most of the time you play with only the right hand but I do want to play with both hands.
Keyboard is easier to learn as well.

I’m thinking of maybe going to the music school n doing piano but go home and practise on a keyboard.
I prefer the feeling of piano keys but we have to get a keyboard since we don’t have much room for a stand up piano.
I know there are keyboards where the keys feel like the ones on a piano, but they’re rather expensive.

So what lesson do you think I should take up?
And any idea on what keyboard would be good?

i have a very good keyboard and want to take piano lessons in a particular school. the school does not offer keyboard lessons. seeing as the keys on a piano are the same, will there be any problem learning piano but practicing in a keyboard?

i have been very interested in taking keyboard lessons for a while now and i want to own a keyboard and learn to play it! im 13 by the way. ive asked my mum if i can and she said just think about it, give me a few good reasons about WHY you want to and then of course you can! i want to play because i want to perform my favorite songs and stuff in front of them, i love the way my fingers just dance around the keys and i find it really fun! i know this because we do keyboard lessons in music but i want my own lessons and my own keyboard.
what are some other good reasons to convince them i really want a keyboard?
